Feeling like having a good time in the greenery while enjoying a multitude of diverse animations? We've got just what you need. The Summer Garden at the quai Branly - Jacques Chirac museum is coming back in early July, and this new edition promises some delightful surprises for lovers of Japanese culture. 

And another summer during which the Quai Branly will make our daily life more beautiful and joyful! From July 8th to August 27th, the famous museum will offer, in addition to its world artworks and impressive exhibitions, a colorful festival filled with diverse and varied cultural and playful activities. With a trendy and beautiful theme: Japan. You will (re)discover the fabulous films of Studio Ghibli, all in a festive atmosphere of natsu matsuri!


A tribute to Japan and its riches

This year, Jardin d'été will take you on a journey to Japan, in the spirit of the natsu matsuri, those warm festivals that take place during the summer season in the country to gather family and friends. This theme echoes the exhibition in the museum's hall, featuring a spectacular Aubusson tapestry, depicting a scene from Hayao Miyazaki's anime film Princess Mononoke.


A wide range of free activities on site

No chance of getting bored during Jardin d'été: a carefully planned program of free activities awaits you, offering a real break in the heart of Paris. Workshops, storytelling, green visits, meet-ups, initiation sessions... There is something for everyone, regardless of age and taste.

Every Thursday of the summer, we will test your knowledge about the Ghibli universe in a cinema quiz.ema. In this way, you will be able to prepare yourself for the unprecedented outdoor cinema screenings, on Thursdays at 7:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 4:30 PM. My Neighbor Totoro, Castle in the Sky, Spirited Away... A chance to rediscover these timeless animated films with nostalgia, where nature and the environment are portrayed with innocence.

On the occasion of this festival of great richness, the museum is presented to us from a new perspective, as it also becomes a place of outdoor living, culture, and nature. It is ideal for recharging and spending a special moment surrounded by loved ones. We will meet there starting from July 8th!
