The outdoor film festival is back at the Palais Galliera!

Attention, cinephiles and fashion lovers! Once again, the Palais Galliera brings together the world of fashion and its heritage through the seventh art with a mini open-air cinema festival surrounding the exhibition Rick Owens, Temple of Love. This stunning Parisian museum offers the unique experience of watching films in its courtyard specially set up for this event, on September 4, 5, and 6. Save the date!

3 Unforgettable Evenings

On the agenda for this mini-festival are film screenings that are particularly cherished by the designer. On Thursday, September 4, we kick things off with Queendom, a documentary dedicated to the queer Russian artist Gena Marvin, released in January 2025. The next day, we have another treat for you with the screening of Chat Noir, a thrilling horror film.

And it’s just perfect timing, as this is the 3rd and final film being offered on Saturday, September 6th. This musical, made in 1975, also highlights the community!ws/bar-queer-historique-paris-menace-fermeture/">queer. Powerful and impactful films, all carrying clear messages, with an aesthetic that’s quite similar to Rick Owens' creations. To explore these great classics, accompanied by popcorn and all sorts of drinks, join us every evening starting at 8 PM.

An intimate and avant-garde exhibition

These summer evenings will also be a chance to (re)discover the current exhibition, showcasing all the brilliance of Rick Owens. An exclusive retrospective, the first one in France, highlighting the journey of this innovative artist, deeply rooted in his time. It’s a historic event, especially since it’s the designer himself who has curated it. Through silhouettes, personal archives, and unprecedented installations, he tells us — candidly but with a touch of narcissism, it must be acknowledged — the story...intimate and artistic having taken it from its early days to its status as a living legend of contemporary fashion.
