Head to La Base 217 in Plessis-Pâté, just an hour from Paris, on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, 2026, to experience the second edition of the kite festival called Les Cœurs-Volants.

Last year, Les Cœurs-Volants managed to gather no less than 15,000 visitors. This year, the festival has gone all out to bring you an even more magnificent second edition, sure to delight both the young and the young at heart.

Get ready to (re)discover kites in every possible way. There will be musical and acrobatic shows featuring the best kite teams from around the world, along with a giant aerial mural, and kite-making workshops. Students from the National School of Architecture of Paris-La Villette will also be there to showcase and fly, for the first time, the flying machines they have created.
A festival for both adults and kids
Whether with friends or family, the festival is perfect for enjoying together, regardless of age. Plus, parking is free when reserved at the time of ticket purchase. Be prepared for 5 &...euro; the entrance for adults, 3 € for children aged 5 to 12 years. The little ones don’t pay. Food trucks and picnic areas will be available on-site to make this day—or this weekend—a memorable moment !
