The European Days of Crafts are making their comeback in Île-de-France

For this new edition, the European Days of Crafts will take place from March 27th to April 2nd, under the theme "Sublimating Everyday Life". They will offer, during a week of festivities, nearly 500 events in Île-de-France. Meet the Artisans To share their passion, 370 professionals from the crafts of Île-de-France will open the doors of their workshops. 97 collective events will be organized, as well as the participation of 17 art schools and institutes, museums, and monuments. Through 15 Exceptional Meetings in Île-de-France, the public will have the opportunity to discover ancestral as well as modern techniques and processes that represent precious know-how. Whether it is in the field of restoration, conservation, or creation, in heritage or emblematic cultural venues that are usually inaccessible or rarely available.To the public, the wonder will be there. Push the doors of the workshops For even more immersion, the JEMA offer you the opportunity to discover these different arts and crafts and their excellent know-how directly in the workshops, in Paris and in Île-de-France. It's also an opportunity to realize how much they enhance our daily lives, from decoration to fashion, architecture, heritage restoration, music, and even books... one thing is for sure, it promises to be exciting! Push the doors of the glass master Louis Barillet's workshop located in the 15th arrondissement and learn more about its history during guided tours. Here, Matrice, a specialized training organization in entrepreneurship, in partnership with Artisans d'Avenir, will receiveCome and join us at the 17th edition of the European Days of Crafts, where you will have the opportunity to meet 20 talented artisans who will be delighted to share their passions with you through interviews, demonstrations, and workshops. But that's not all! We have a whole array of skilled artisans in the Île-de-France region. You can meet the engraver and embosser Guy Braun in Seine-et-Marne, the upholsterer and furniture painter Laurent Daniel in Yvelines, or the restorer of paintings Claire Ducluzeau in Suresnes, and many more. This event is not just a celebration of craftsmanship, but also a special moment to discover and appreciate the richness of our living heritage. It's an opportunity that should not be missed! The 17th edition of the European Days of Crafts is nationally organized by the National Institute of Crafts (INMA) and coordinated in Île-de-France by the Chamber of Crafts and Artisans of IDF.
