Do you feel a little tinge of nostalgia when you think about the vibrant energy of Paris during the 2024 Olympic Games? Guess what? This weekend, you’ll get to enjoy a city buzzing with sports once again! Sunday, September 14, 2025 will mark the very first edition of the Fête du Sport. It’s going to be a unique day, all about celebrating one year since the Paris 2024 games, bringing together Parisians and all French folks alike, and highlighting the importance of physical activity.

While events will be organized all around the country, in Paris, rue de Rivoli — from Place de la Concorde to Saint-Paul — will transform into a vibrant Sport Boulevard where you can discover a wide range of sports disciplines over more than 2.5 kilometers, chat with 46 sports federations, and even meet athletes from the French Team. The day will end with one last lighting of the Olympic Cauldron before next summer. We’ve put together our little selection of sports to try out on this occasion and who knows, you might just discover a new passion!

Swimming
Not only will you be able to enjoy a dive in the Seine as long as summer is still here, but on Sunday, September 14, many athletes will perform a historic 100 meters in the river during the EDF Open meeting. Among them are Alain Bernard, Camille Lacourt, Laure Manaudou, Florent Manaudou, and many more!
Padel
Head over to a side street off Rue de Rivoli, more specifically Place Vendôme, to give a padel session a try!

Athletics
Can you imagine a more amazing place than the Louvre to test your athletic skills? This Sunday, September 14th, a running track will be specially set up on Rue de Rivoli for you to try to beat your own record… or even Usain Bolt's world record!
Ice Hockey
The French Ice Hockey Federation is joining in on the fun! And guess what, a temporary ice rink will be set up near the Concorde to allow both kids and adults to learn about this exciting sport and enjoy team demonstrations!

Break Dance
Head over to the St-Merri gym on Renard Street — a side street off Rivoli Street — to give a Break Dance workshop a try from 2 PM to 4 PM. Alongside the Break Dance Crew, you’ll get to learn the basics of this sport that made its grand entrance at the Olympics last year!
