You've been waiting for it, it's back! On May 26th, runners from Paris will tread the streets of the capital for the adidas 10K. An event that is both friendly and festive to challenge yourself or simply share a moment with athletes, whether they are amateurs or experienced, all equally passionate. And you will need to be many to cheer on our athletes for a day!
Get ready to cheer and applaud loudly to support your wife, brother, friend, and the hundreds of other strangers who will be racing. To do so, get ready to position yourself in the four corners of the capital. The race will start on Avenue Victor Hugo, then continue on the Haussmann, Malesherbes, and Madeleine boulevards. The runners will then pass by the Opéra Garnier before reaching the Tuileries quay and following the Seine to Avenue de New York. After passing through the Trocadéro gardens and onto Raymond Poincaré avenue, they will finally reach the finish line on Avenue Foch. And to make it even more fun, this year, adidas 10K is innovating! Dear parents, no need to find a babysitter or leave the little ones with grandparents: for the first time, a dedicated stroller start corral is set up to allow families to experience this race together. An initiative applauded by participants: "I have been running regularly with my son since he was 6 months old. He really enjoys the moment, he looks at the scenery. I hope this will be democratized in a majority of races. I think it motivates women to run by sharing a friendly moment with their child," says Mari-Vorgan.
