Coldplay takes over the Atelier des Lumières for an immersive exhibition!

From June 5 to July 25, 2026, the Atelier des Lumières invites you to rediscover Coldplay's latest album, A Film for the Future. Get ready to be dazzled and amazed with an immersive show that will shake up your summer evenings.

After shaking the biggest stadiums on the planet, Chris Martin and his band are getting ready to land in the 11th arrondissement. From June 5 to July 25, 2026, the Atelier des Lumières will temporarily set aside Renaissance brushes to immerse us in a unique sensory trip. What's the concept? A monumental projection of A Film for the Future, the visual companion to their hit album Moon Music, which has already received acclaim in London and Seoul, and is finally making its way to Paris for exclusive evenings.


A Collaborative Art Project on a Global Scale

What makes this experience totally amazing is its unique collaborative dimension worldwide. To bring the pieces of Moon Music to life, the group gave 150 visual artists from 45 countries complete creative freedom. With no brief, no imposed rules, and no common artistic direction, each artist interpreted a musical excerpt in their own style, unaware of what the others were creating.

The result? A mosaic of hypnotic worlds coming to life on the walls of the 19th-century old foundry. We travel from a minimalist poetry to explosions of colors, from a weightless space journey to ultra-dynamic graphic sequences. Thanks to the 140 video projectors at the Atelier, every corner comes alive and blends with the music, completely erasing the boundary between contemporary art and pop concerts.

 

A total sensory experience

There's no way to just stand still or gaze at the artworks in silence here. To ensure that the immersion is complete, the Atelier des Lumières is all about engaging your senses!

During the 45 minutes of the show, the lyrics of the songs unfold in big on the walls of the hall, inviting the audience to sing along together, if a wild urge strikes you. To enhance this unique "immersive concert" atmosphere, a bar area set up in the heart of the Hall will offer refreshments for sale throughout the session. 

We can already see it: a drink in hand, surrounded by sounds, sings along to Coldplay's choruses with wide eyes facing the stars.
