If you're looking for a place to climb but you're tired of stepping on your neighbor's toes, listen up, because the spot of your dreams is on the Porte d'Italie side. Here you will find Climb Up, the largest climbing gym in Paris, and above all, the best.

Climbing, coworking, yoga, sauna... All of this on a 4,000 m2 living space. Welcome to Climb Up Porte d'Italie, the largest climbing gym in Paris and the second largest in Europe. Here, beginners and experts, young and old, come together to grip and push their limits. Once you enter the grand complex, you'll discover chill zones, a café-restaurant, workspaces, and an area where children as young as 3 can climb. But just descend the stairs to the ground floor and you'll discover a climbing temple like you've never seen before! Route or bouldering: it's up to you to choose. Upstairs, the educational area welcomes all children from the age of 3 with its color-coded paths that you can follow or not, allowing your imagination to run wild. On the ground floor, you'll find an indoor climbing course... A climbing area with 11-meter walls. In this discipline, you can climb on a top rope or lead climb, and you can take a discovery course to learn belaying techniques and be autonomous and safe during our ascents.

If harnesses are not your thing, don't worry, there is also a large bouldering area for all levels and it's renewed approximately every month so you never get bored. The advantage is that it's so big that there's plenty of space, which is not the case in the usual Parisian climbing gyms where people often bump into each other. The cherry on top? Here we have the most beautiful Spray Wall in the capital, a mishmash, no, a real puzzle of blocks for the climbing pros (and anyone who wants to try it) to vary their movements and challenge their creativity. And as they say, after the effort comes comfort. So after your session, head to the hammam and sauna to relax.

A school for young and old

At Climb Up, you are free as the wind. You can come and climb on your own or with friends. But you can also enroll in the climbing school that animates the place every day. With yearly and quarterly classes, workshops during school holidays, private lessons, or even family sessions, you have all the tools in hand to progress in no time. You can learn how to belay and fall properly, as well as how to use the equipment. Everything to become a climbing master. On-site, the Climb Up team takes care of renting you the gear you need, from shoes to harnesses.

At the end of the year, enrolled children can even participate in the Climbing School Contest, a kind of carnival for little climbers. It's the last moment for kids to see their climbing buddies, with zip lines, a Photo Booth, and plenty of pancakes.


Climbing and chilling

Climb Up oozes a friendly, joyful vibe. The atmosphere is relaxed, allowing you to enjoy climbing to the fullest. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned climber, you'll find challenges suited to your level. And if you just want to hang out and watch others climb, there's a cozy chill-out area where you can relax and socialize.

It's not just a climbing gym (and a really cool one, by the way), it's a true living space. A spot where friends gather, where you can grab your morning coffee, have lunch, or even work alone on your computer. And like any good living space, several events mark the highlights of the year. First, there's the Climbing School Fair, but also contests like the Power Contest and the 45°, block competitions (specifically designed for the event) with a qualifying round and a final. The final is actually a real spectacle where you are welcome to watch the impressive performances of the strongest climbers. Finally, the Climbing Night is a more festive and relaxed event with DJ sets in the evening. It's a more amateur contest that showcases the talented climbers of the gym, not just the strongest ones. In short, this place is not just for climbing, it's a vibrant hub of activity and community.
