You are familiar with Christmas markets, their activities, their wealth, but this one should allow you to rise above it all. Starting next Thursday, the Iron Lady will host one within her, on her 200m2 terrace, with blue and white chalets, LED-lit Christmas trees, decoration workshops, and a meeting with Santa Claus. Nothing is too grand to amaze the Parisians.

A Christmas market with a view of Paris.
According to Le Parisien, the SETE (Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel), the company in charge of managing the Eiffel Tower, will set up a Christmas market on the first floor of the iconic landmark. With a breathtaking view of the city, visitors can enjoy the festive atmosphere and browse through various stalls offering seasonal delicacies and handcrafted gifts.
The market will be open from December 11, 2023, until January 6, 2024, giving locals and tourists alike plenty of time to experience the magic of Christmas at the Eiffel Tower. So don't miss out on this unique opportunity to celebrate the holiday season in style at one of the most famous landmarks in the world. The person in charge of managing the Eiffel Tower (Sete) doesn't hide their excitement. Although it's not the first time a Christmas market has been set up on the first floor of the building, this year, "visitors will be able to stroll while enjoying a selection of gourmet products. Chestnut honey from Ferme des Clos, watercress pesto from the Cressonnière de la Villa Paul, and trout rillettes from l'Eclimont," for example. Hot beverages, including a "Paris tea" in collaboration with Dammann Frères (black tea, natural crisis flavors, gingerbread, almond, bitter, ginger, and flower petals), crepes, and other Christmas delights will also be available for your enjoyment.
Your little ones will be able to get their hands dirty and express their creativity through gingerbread decoration workshops. Santa Claus will be present on the first floor on December 16 and 17, and then every day from December 20 to 24 (from 10 am to 6 pm on weekdays, and until 8 pm on weekends), as described by the Sete.
Yes, even though we usually avoid the most crowded monuments in Paris, we have the right to be tourists ourselves from time to time. It's Christmas, everything is allowed.
