Get ready for a journey to the other side of the world. On November 12th, Paris will adorn itself in its most beautiful colors to celebrate Diwali, or the Festival of Lights, one of the most important celebrations in Indian culture. In the tradition, the festivities last for five days. Fireworks are set off, gifts are given... Diwali marks a true turning point as in northern India, the third day of celebration is also the last day of the Hindu year. This festival is also celebrated in Nepal, Singapore, Malaysia, and on the islands of Mauritius and Reunion. We are listening to the recital of Bharata Natyam. Join us at the Mandapa Theater for a Bharatanatyam dance performance.yam extraordinary, in honor of the Diwali festival. On stage, the artist Anugraha Sridhar will transport us into a captivating performance inspired by traditional sculptures and an interpretation of ancient texts that evoke the positioning of hands and legs.
