Starting from November 12th, the Jardin des Plantes is inviting you to a magical 7th edition of its now-famous light trail, On the Way to Illuminations. After exploring the insects, extinct animals, dinosaur, jungle animals, and even giant marine mammals, this year, one of the most beautiful parks in the capital will focus on the “Lights of Nature”. Get ready for a program packed with bioluminescence, fluorescence, and incandescence all around, sure to dazzle your eyes.

Every piece of land, every building facade is put to use to showcase technological marvels here and there. Charging stations, panels, projections, videomapping, light installations, the animations go on endlessly for our delight, offering us a world tour of light. And this year, thanks to new unique processes, the experience promises to be even more immersive than ever.

This time, the Jardin des Plantes offers us a completely new theme, far from its giant animal models, tackling a beautiful concept.
Even more abstract : the different forms of light found in nature. From the tiny sparkling dot of a firefly to the lava geysers of an erupting volcano, not to mention fluorescent jellyfish and dazzling galaxies, each source, whether terrestrial, marine, celestial or mineral, is here celebrated for our greatest joy. A magical spectacle, exploring real and natural phenomena that are often little known, designed to wow us!
