What a great place just 50 km from Paris! 73 hectares of greenery, including 8 hectares of swimming areas, picnic areas, sports fields, and most importantly, water! The leisure island of Bois-le-Roi is the perfect all-in-one destination for those who can't decide what to do in the summer.

Free swimming

Every summer, the leisure park of Bois-le-Roi offers us a great beach where we can cool off in less than 1 hour and 30 minutes from Paris. With its beautiful lake surrounded by the Fontainebleau forest, it's the ideal spot to have a picnic and enjoy the summer breeze.

Here, you will find several swimming areas, with five pools, with a maximum depth of 80cm for the little ones, a large pool that goes up to 2m20 deep for swimmers, but also a 125 meter swimming lane. To enjoy it, we go there every day in July, and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in August, from 2:30pm to 6pm. For the month of June, just check the opening weekends on social media!

Golf, tree climbing, and sliding

In addition to offering us a great swimming area, the leisure island of Bois-le-Roi keeps you busy all day with lots of outdoor activities. Golf, tennis, tree climbing, horse riding, skatepark, and even beekeeping initiation... Both kids and adults will find something they like! Others will venture out on the water and can rent stand-up paddleboards to glide smoothly on the water, enjoying the coolness of the water and the warm rays of sunshine. Isn't life beautiful?

Bois-le-Roi Leisure Island is the place to be for a fun-filled day in the sun. With its various swimming zones, including pools for both children and adults, and a swimming lane for those who want to clock some laps, there's plenty of opportunities to cool off and enjoy the water. The opening hours are flexible, with daily access in July and weekends in August. Make sure to check their social media for any updates on June opening weekends!

But that's not all! Bois-le-Roi Leisure Island offers a wide range of outdoor activities to keep you entertained throughout the day. From golf and tennis to tree climbing and horse riding, there's something for everyone. The island even offers beekeeping initiation for those looking to learn something new. And for those who prefer the water, stand-up paddleboards are available for rent, allowing you to glide smoothly across the water while soaking up the sun.
