How about we spend the holidays in culture? Between Christmas and New Year, the Louvre opens its doors to the public for exceptional night events, in addition to the ones that are usually held every Wednesday and Friday. The date is set for from December 22, 2025, to January 3, 2026, to explore the galleries of the museum the most iconic in the capital once the night falls.

An incredible opportunity to admire the museum's works

Do you dream of being able to (re)discover the Louvre, but never find the time? Maybe December and the holiday break is the perfect moment! These evening openings allow you to enjoy the various collections of the museum in a unique way, as well as the temporary exhibitions. And just so happens, the Louvre is hosting an exhibition dedicated to the painter Jacques-Louis David until January 26, 2026. So, the timing is just right to make sure you don't miss it!

Between Strolls and Discoveries

In addition to the free strolls, there are events organized during these evening openings. Every Wednesday and Friday until January 26, 2026, you can enjoy a 20-minute guided tour of the Jacques-Louis David exhibition. Guided walks through French sculptures are also scheduled for Friday, December 26 at 6:30 PM. There’s a similar activity focused on French paintings. To join in on these evening events, you’ll need to bring an entrance ticket to the museum. Are you coming?
