If the capital has a certain number of green spaces, let's not kid ourselves, these spots, while lovely, sorely lack flowers. Especially now that spring is in full swing (or almost), and all we dream of is being enchanted by fragrances and colors from another world. So, to satisfy all your plant cravings, we’ve found a spot like no other, featuring nearly 25,000 flowers planted by the painter André Van Beek.
A fairytale garden
We know that artists' homes are often unique places that reflect both the personality and the talent of the illustrious creators who have lived there. This is the case for the apartment of Victor Hugo, a true wonder.
The cabinet of curiosities, or Giverny, is a charming abode of Claude Monet. However, here's the deal—Giverny is lovely, but it's often crowded. So, we’re offering you a slightly less popular alternative that’s just as spectacular. Opened 26 years ago by painter André Van Beek and his partner, and crafted by their hands, it’s a living masterpiece that beautifully evolves with the seasons. And one thing’s for sure, spring is probably the best time to admire all its potential!Voir cette publication sur Instagram
A Symphony of Colors
You must know that this green space with infinite poetry boasts no less than 26,000 tulips, 1,000 dahlias, and 300 hydrangeas, along with hundreds of daffodils that fill the air with fragrance and offer our eyes an impressive array of colors. Throughout the stroll, you'll also discover the seven ponds adorned with bridges, where dozens of varieties of water lilies and colorful koi fish flourish. This scenery is reminiscent of The Water Lilies, just with a lot more visitors! And be sure to take a trip before the tulip season ends because it’s truly worth it!
