Two ribbons of tulips, 250 meters long
This is a tradition that we wouldn’t miss for the world. Every year, for over ten years, three gardens at the Château de Cheverny adorn themselves with two fabulous ribbons of 500,000 tulips in shades of red, pink, and yellow. Stretching 250 meters long and 12 meters wide, they stand out like a work of art in the open air and present a splendid spectacle for all visitors. A natural canvas that requires the hard work of seven gardeners throughout the year.

From 100,000 to 500,000 bulbs planted
It was in 2014 that the tulip ribbon was created, initially planting 100,000 bulbs. Year after year, the number of bulbs planted has only increased. In 2015, there were 120,000, and by 2019, that grew to 150,000. In 2020, we reached 200,000 bulbs, then jumped to 250,000 in 2022, finally hitting 500,000 in 2023 and 2024, with more to come in 2025. And one thing's for sure: this year, we won't miss them!
