There are hidden bars, and in Paris, there are tons of them. There are restaurants completely hidden from the eyes of passersby, but not quite that many. However, since we’re always up for a great find, we managed to uncover the first hidden restaurant in the capital. To discover it, head to the 8th arrondissement, specifically to Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré, and push open the door of a very special grocery store.
Clothes don’t make the monk
When you push open the door of Attilio, it’s hard to believe that you’ve just stepped into a restaurant. At first glance, the place looks like a very high-quality Italian grocery store, indeed, but just a épicerie, that’s all. On the counters and shelves, you’ll find some really beautiful products.German, like artisanal olive oils, quality pasta, or spices selected by chef Attilio Marrazzo. Yet, at the back of the shop, our eyes are drawn to a huge wooden library, which actually hides... the entrance to a restaurant! Behind the furniture is a table unlike any other where you can choose between bistro and gourmet restaurant, in a soft and cozy atmosphere.

Between Italy and France
On the menus, you'll find refined cuisine that sits perfectly between Italian tradition and French know-how. Exquisite dishes created by someone who was a student of Joël Robuchon. Whether it's bistro-style or gastronomic dining, every ingredient is meticulously selected by Chef Marrazzo, from pasta to olive oil, not to mention meats and vegetables, all to bring you the best. A menu full of character that changes with the seasons, which you can enjoy a la carte or as a tasting menu. And the good news is that, thanks to the grocery store, you can even try to recreate the dishes at home!Install the house using the same products!
