It's the final stretch before the Christmas holidays, and Paris is treating us to a wonderfully seasonal weather: with overcast skies, gusty winds, and a few sunny breaks, the autumn vibe keeps making its presence felt in the capital. Put on your scarves and stay alert!

As Christmas vacation approaches quickly, Paris is immersed in a fresh and breezy atmosphere. Between gray days, a few rays of sunshine, and temperatures swinging between cool mornings and mild afternoons, this week will be marked by typical pre-winter weather.


Clouds and gusts at the start of the week

Monday and Tuesday will set the tone with a heavily clouded sky, but not much precipitation to report. The temperatures, ranging between 7 and 10°C, will be perfect for a last shopping sprint or a cozy walk. On Wednesday, the scene changes: the wind picks up and strong gusts begin to sweep through the capital, reaching up to 50-60 km/h. Temperatures will rise slightly, reaching up to 12°C during the day.


A weekend of calm and instability

Friday morning will begin under a bright blue sky, but don't be fooled by this fleeting sunshine: the clouds...

Temperatures will quickly take a dive. They will drop by morning, hovering around 3°C, and won't exceed 7°C in the afternoon. On Saturday, expect a gray and damp atmosphere with stable temperatures between 6 and 9°C. Sunday might bring some wind in a more unstable situation: a mix of clear skies and showers, with temperatures consistently around 8-9°C.

The weather is setting the tone just days before the festivities, but it won't take away from the magic of Christmas in Paris during this season. So, keep your warm puffer jacket and an umbrella handy to tackle the week!
