Led by researchers from the University of Toronto and reported by the Wall Street Journal, this study starts from the premise that charisma is measurable. 996 people were asked to list the characteristics of a charismatic individual according to them, and a few were asked to rate themselves.
The study concluded that two major characteristics define a charismatic person, which are the two variables in this test: affability (or courtesy, if you prefer) and influence. For each question, you rate from 1 (not at all agree) to 5 (completely agree) and then divide the total by 6.
