Halfway between a concept store and a traditional pharmacy, this confidential address could very well become our new beauty headquarters!
It's on a fresh and sunny morning that we push open the door of this somewhat unique place. With its wooden floor, woody decor, and vegetal atmosphere, Pharmacie Henri IV doesn't resemble any other pharmacy, and for good reason, people come here to discover the beauty gems that Valérie has just unearthed. "Even though many products are made in France, it was while traveling that the desire to share my findings with people was born," Valérie tells us.
Passionate about health and the environment, she wanted to "make known, exclusively, unique brands and give them the visibility they deserve."
I discovered new little quality cosmetics brands, that are also socially conscious. Among them, I fell in love with the marvelous Océopin Prodigieux oil, made from seeds of the maritime pine that comes straight from the beautiful peninsula of Cap Ferret. I also adore the delightful Swedish Tangent shower gels with their herbal, floral, or spicy scents. And let's not forget the ingenious vegan, natural, and zero-waste deodorant from Les Petits Prödiges, as well as the super eco-friendly and organic hydrocellular masks from Maloo and Marius. Valerie has done a great job with her selection!
But that's not all! The pharmacy even has a grocery section where you can find little delights like pure ginger shots from Gimber, which are perfect for boosting your immune system in winter. They also have vegan chocolate and GreenMa herbal teas. And let me tell you, their Magic Mamma blend, made from revitalizing and comforting organic plants, was voted as the best infusion of the year.
