Six themes around nutrition discussed during these three days

Open to the general public throughout the event, this will mainly attract families and school groups on Wednesday, March 26, while the following two days will be more generally open to anyone interested in the topic. What to expect? Three days of information and discovery regarding the various challenges that nutrition faces today and the initiatives being implemented.

The official inauguration of the Solutions Village will take place on Wednesday, March 26 at 9:30 AM. On this occasion, several personalities will speak, including Jérémie Pellet, General Director of Ex.Thani Mohamed Soilihi, Delegate Minister for Francophonie and International Partnerships, Audrey Pulvar, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of sustainable food, agriculture, and short supply chains, and Cindy McCain, Executive Director of the World Food Programme. These discussions will help highlight the challenges and issues ahead for nutrition in the world, and the AFD Group's commitment to addressing them, alongside agencies from the United Nations (World Food Programme, UNICEF, WHO...), research institutes (IRD), and civil society (French Red Cross, Action Against Hunger, etc.). As a reminder, starting at 9:00 AM, Gret and the World Food Programme will unveil, near the Village, a joint photo exhibition titled "Nourishing Future Generations."

It was in 2013 that the Nutrition for Growth (N4G) summit was created. Since then, it has taken place every four years in the host country of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Each edition brings together the global community, including international organizations, civil societies, governments, as well as the academic world and the private sector. It's a wonderful way to highlight the solutions found to assist over 713 million undernourished people worldwide.*
