Jars of honey placed on the shelves, preparations with propolis or royal jelly, bottles of mead, and flasks of elixirs from the hive around a spinning wheel... Even the walls of the new Ballot-Flurin shop have been hand-coated with beeswax, as we are told. Here, there's no glue or plastic: this raw, very natural feel immerses us in the heart of a human-sized hive.
An immersion in the heart of the hive
There’s no doubt, this place, which opened in November 2025, is now a shining example as the Parisian temple of apitherapy — this method that involves healing through bees. Founded by Catherine Flurin, the company was established in 1977 in the Hautes-Pyrénées, with a goal: to promote Gentle Beekeeping©, in respect for nature and...
of bees. Nearly 50 years later, these values continue to inspire Ballot-Flurin. On the bottles, the ingredients are few, chosen for their effectiveness and clarity, while the prices aim to be fair, in order to properly compensate our partner beekeepers.

A committed company from A to Z
Every step, from flower to finished product, is handled in-house, in this family-run business that operates like a buzzing hive. Beekeeper, creator, manufacturer, Ballot-Flurin also collaborates with a network of certified organic beekeepers in France and Europe. After three stores in the Pyrenees, the Paris workshop-store marks a new chapter in Ballot-Flurin's story, but most importantly, in its commitment. In addition to the sales area, where api-advisors are available, meetings, conferences, and activities are organized every week, making this place a unique space for exchange, discovery, and sharing. A wonderful way to take care of yourself while taking action.directly for the bees and the sustainability of the planet.
