This weekend, on the banks of the Seine, the cutest event of the year took place: the Paris Sausage Walk. A massive gathering of dachshunds, aka sausage dogs, kicked off this 5th edition right at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. Just looking at the photos shows how amazing it was!
The Most Stylish Walk in Paris
Thanks to a wonderful idea from the Teckels Sans Doux Foyer association, for the past 5 years, hundreds and hundreds of sausage dogs have been gathering each year in the streets of the capital, bringing joy to their owners, animal lovers, as well as tourists and other lucky passersby who happened to be there.

And for the 2024 edition, which aimed to smash the record of 1146 dogs set last year, we can say it’s mission accomplished! Indeed, according to the organizers, 2031 dogs participated this time!the year. 2031 adorable little things, that had brought out their finest outfits and craziest accessories to delight the cheering crowd.
An important cause that brings us together
And just like in Paris, we love to combine the useful with the enjoyable, this march was also (and above all) one of the most commendable actions. Beneath its entertaining facade lay, as every year, a noble cause: raising donations for the association Teckels Sans Doux Foyer. To support this, a sale of bags, posters and badges was organized during the event, allowing everyone to take home a little souvenir and support the wonderful work of the association.
