A supermoon is a full moon that comes really close to Earth, a term coined by astrologer Richard Nolle in the 1970s. It appears about 7% larger and up to 16% brighter than a regular full moon. Sure, you might not see the difference with the naked eye, but you can count on it to add a touch of magic to the evening sky.
The Beaver Supermoon
Native Americans named the full moons of each month based on nature's activities, and the November moon pays tribute to the beaver. This little dam builder is at the peak of its activity during this time, gathering wood and food to survive the winter. Its fur was also prized by hunters during this late autumn period.
Time to Declutter
Whether it's in our closets or in our emotions, this oversized and high-energy moon shines a light on everything, boldly and without hesitation. It encourages us to let go of what no longer fits us and to embrace the changes ahead.
Creating a cozy nest, sheltered from the cold, to welcome winter. Energies are rising, emotions too, with this slightly crazy desire to transform everything into a more authentic version of ourselves. It’s as if this full moon is whispering to us that, to make way for renewal, we must also learn to say goodbye to habits, fears, and old stories, with the same confidence as a beaver building its dam.Levons nos yeux vers le ciel : une super lune nous y donne rendez-vous le 15 novembre !

How to Observe It?
You're not learning anything new here, you’ll want to find a spot far away from the city lights for the best view. From 10:28 PM, the Moon will be at its brilliant best. If you have binoculars or a telescope, that’s even better! It’s also a great chance to spot the Pleiades, those shining stars in the Taurus constellation, which will add to the show.
After this Beaver Supermoon, you'll have to wait until the full moon on December 15th, which is far less spectacular, just saying! As for the Beaver Supermoon, you'll have to wait another 2 years to see it again on November 24, 2026. Enjoy it while you can!
