This Sunday, June 8th, we're filling up on delicious dishes, great music, commitment, and solidarity with this big banquet being organized at the Academy of Climate. Driven by Yes We Camp and the Ecotable Community, the event "Elbows on the Table" aims to make sustainable food accessible and festive with a huge feast, a collective kitchen, artistic performances, activities, round tables, music... It's an initiative we can only support, and this year it’s part of the Better Eating Festival, organized from June 7th to 14th by the City of Paris.
It’s better when it’s shared
The concept? Every meal purchased helps to finance a meal for someone in a precarious situation.
it’s, graciously invited. A big table then brings everyone together around a seasonal meal where sharing, friendliness, and togetherness are the keywords. In total, 400 100% vegetarian lunches will be served in two shifts. A punchy operation to highlight a bunch of associations and combat precarity.Voir cette publication sur Instagram
Starting at 9 AM, you are invited to come and get your hands messy to prepare the thousands of dumplings that will then be served to all the participants. Half of them are food aid beneficiaries invited by the various associations present, and the other half is you! This year, La Chorba, Communauté Écotable, RECHO, Les Petites Étoiles, and Des Cantines et des Femmes will cook for and with you.
A festive and supportive day
In addition to this grand banquet, ... Yes We Camp invites you to take part in a variety of activities to learn, take action, and come away from this event feeling empowered. Meetings, round tables, Solution Agora… all the associations present will be delighted to share their daily actions with you and provide you with the essential keys to join them and make a difference in your own way.

On top of that, an incredible cultural program awaits you, featuring DJ sets from Petrouchka and Nightchou, performances by the circus company Cirque Électrique, and even dancing with S.W.A.G Studio. All that's left for you to do is book your spot to guarantee your place. And remember, while the entry fee is free, we want to remind you that it’s all for a great cause !
