Director of the unforgettable comedy Mission Cleopatra, which recorded over 25 million admissions in cinemas worldwide, the actor and director is back to work, 20 years after its release. And unlike his first success, he has committed to a 3D animation series, adapted from the seventh comic book album, The Battle of the Chefs, published in 1966.

Panoramix goes crazy after getting hit by a menhir
In this comic, Panoramix goes crazy and loses his memory after getting hit on the head by a menhir accidentally thrown by Obelix. This story has already been depicted in the animated film Asterix and the Big Fight (1989).
This incredibly exciting project was announced in 2021, and we were expecting it to be released in 2024. However, we will have to wait a bit longer: the publishing house Albert Rene explained in a statement that "the series is currently being produced at the TAT studio in Toulouse."
So mark your calendars because it will be coming to your screens in the first half of 2025.
