The Editor

Often copied, never equaled, La Baguette du Relais has established itself as a must-visit address for street food in Paris, an extension of the Relais de Venise. Here, you can enjoy the famous Entrecôte from Porte Maillot, where for 65 years people have been savoring a deliciously grilled sirloin steak, accompanied by  golden, crispy fries, all smothered in their famous secret sauce.

The Little Sister of Relais de l'Entrecôte

This family business, founded in 1959 by the winemaker from Tarn, Paul Gineste de Saurs, is now managed by several of his grandchildren. Among them is Pauline, who heads the historic restaurant at Porte Maillot and is the inspiration behind the new concept La Baguette du Relais.

One sandwich for a unique taste

This innovative concept is here! La Baguette du Relais always offers just one dish on the menu: a baguette sandwich filled with entrecôte and crinkle fries. But the highlight of this dish lies in its deliciously buttery sauce, the recipe of which remains a well-kept family secret passed down through several generations. A unique dish, but still customizable. You can choose between the classic version, the XL with double the meat, or the BIG with 240g of meat for those with (very) big appetites, as well as a gluten-free version or even one with a black bread made from vegetal charcoal. All of it with ```Top quality products sourced from the same artisans for over 60 years.

And a little sweetness for the sweetest tooth

On the dessert side, we have homemade cheesecake and chocolate fondant, all prepared either in-house or by the historic baker from Relais de Venise. We wash it all down with a glass of wine from the family estate, and that’s a wrap!
