We're celebrating the reopening of the Bpi!

After six months of a colossal move and nine kilometers of shelves transported – all thanks to the closure of the Centre Pompidou – the Public Information Library (Bpi) reopened its doors on August 25th, this time in the 12th arrondissement, right in the heart of the Lumière building, near Bercy Village. What's in store? Over 317,000 books, 1,500 workspaces, a plethora of digital resources, and themed areas ranging from a video game lounge to a Music room with vinyl records and pianos. And to celebrate this reopening, the Bpi is pulling out all the stops with a weekend of festivities: writing workshops, language speed-dating, book clubs, storytelling, video games, and… a massive karaoke! Yes, the Bpi is so much more than just a library.

We’re brunching with lost brioche in Belleville

Freshly settled in the heart of Belleville, Bambin ticks all the boxes of a cozy coffee shop where you can hang out on the weekend. Inclusive, friendly, and filled with good vibes, it’s the new go-to spot to gather with family, friends, as a couple, or even solo. On the menu, the brunch features a generous serving of homemade lost brioche (provided by Les Reconvertis in Montreuil) and artisan bread from Ten Belles: try the mortadella-pistachio-burrata version (14.50 €), eggs & bacon Brioche Perdue Breaky style (15 €), or even the vegetarian Belleville with glazed eggplants, miso, and homemade breaded tofu (14 €). The kids are taken care of too, with a mini grilled cheese for 5 €. To top it off...the comforting sides (creamy, mashed, burrata, rösti) and delightful extras (roasted portobello mushrooms, scrambled eggs, bacon). In short, a clever brunch that adapts to all cravings and appetites.
