We're treating ourselves to an elegant Italian dinner!

Nestled in a quiet little street in Saint-Georges, this brand new "neo-bistro" is bringing the neighborhood to life with its divine Franco-Italian cuisine. We kick things off with a ginger pumpkin veil, topped with confit egg yolk and picota rosemary sauce, or a beef tartare spiced with shallots, chives, and smoked oil. Then, it's time for the house stars: the fresh pasta, handmade every morning. Right now, the cappelletti filled with ricotta, parmigiano, and chestnut, served with watercress pesto and lardo di Colonnata is worth the detour all on its own. And to wrap up, we face a sweet dilemma: panna cotta with two vanillas and white balsamic, or poached pear in a homemade syrup, buckwheat-hazelnut granola, and honey mascarpone. All of this is crafted by a young duo trained at Cordon Bleu, in a decor that blends red wood, Japanese lines, and elegance. Divine, we tell you!

Revisiting Goethe at the Nanterre-Amandiers Theatre

Brett Bailey, a South African artist-director, reinterprets Faust II, the second part of Goethe's monumental work. From October 31 to November 2, on the stage of the Éphémère theatre at the Nanterre-Amandiers Theatre, FaustX unveils a modern tale about power and excess. In this version, Dr. Faust becomes a tech mogul in a world in crisis, caught between climate chaos and unstable geopolitics. A visual fable that resonates deeply with our times.

Let's have a Twilight marathon!

Because Halloween would probably be a lot less fun without our good old horror films, many cinemas in Paris are featuring some truly terrifying gems. Our favorite cinema on Rue Mouffetard, L'Épée de Bois, is showing some gory films for this gloomy season, like Vermines (Sébastien Vaniček, 2023) and Longlegs (Oz Perkins, 2024). And for those who don't like getting scared too much, good news: the cinema is hosting a special Twilight marathon for all the saga fans (lots of laughter guaranteed, we promise!) The first three films will be shown on Saturday, while the last two will be on Sunday during the day.eacute;e – and we promise you. So, team Edward or team Jacob ?
