Let's treat ourselves to a wellness session at KTRL
Just a few steps away from the City Hall, this new wellness spot has caught our eye. KTRL, a 300 m² sports studio, takes a unique approach that blends performance and recovery. You'll find two rooms: one focused on training with all the right equipment, and another equipped with mats for ground exercises. Plus, there's an infrared sauna for gentle recovery. So, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re into targeted strength formats or more cardio sessions like HIIT or Plyo & Explosivity. And don’t miss the signature classes like GRIP and Bunda, Hyrox workshops, and low-impact classes like Pilates or Barre—there's even a HOT version to intensify your muscle workout!

Let's meet Alison Bechdel and Iris Brey at the Violette & Co bookstore
The essential tool for measuring gender equality in cinema, the famous "Bechdel Test" was published in 1985 in a simple comic strip from the series "Gouines à suivre." Yet, its impact has been monumental. Iris Brey, known for theorizing the female gaze, recounts how Alison Bechdel, author of cult graphic novels, gave rise to a test that made the absence of women on our screens visible. The good news? You’ll have the chance to meet both authors this Saturday at the feminist, lesbian, and LGBTQIA+ bookstore, Violette & Co.
We will present the essay (and you might even leave with a signed copy!)

Rediscover the alt-rock of French Police at Petit Bain
Made up of brothers Brian and Jesse Flores, along with their friend José Vega, the Chicago-based trio French Police captivates us with a nostalgic take on alternative rock. They bring a touch of 80s New Wave back to life, featuring almost melancholic vocals alternating between Spanish and English. A must-see this Sunday at Petit Bain to wrap up your weekend beautifully!
