We’re sipping cocktails in the queer saloon of the Marais
Grab your cowboy boots and your inner cowgirl: this Friday, we’re treating ourselves to a night out at the queer saloon of the Marais, a.k.a. Le Coyote. A coffee shop by day and a wine bar when night falls, this lesbian (and friends) hangout, which opened last autumn by Marine Gora (ex-Gramme 3), livens up the neighborhood evenings with well-shaken cocktails and expertly crafted small plates. Add in a little country playlist, some horseshoes here and there, and a minimalist western vibe, and you’ve got your funky weekend outing!

We're part of a big solidarity feast at Café Jaune
At the end of Ramadan – which took place on March 19th – it's time for solidarity in some lovely kitchens around Paris. This is the case of Café Jaune, nestled in Saint-Ouen, which is hosting a big solidarity banquet for Aid this Friday. The idea? To offer a meaningful celebration filled with food, music, and solidarity, all to benefit a charitable organization. Some guests will pay for their spot online, while others will be invited by Utopia56, a well-known organization in Paris that helps people in exile and extreme poverty. It’s a beautiful moment of togetherness, to share a friendly and delicious meal with those who can no longer indulge in the luxury of celebration, lightness, and the joy of a festive dinner.

Rediscovering Matisse's work at the Grand Palais
The Grand Palais is hosting a series of magnificent exhibitions and this time, it's diving into the work of one of the country's most famous and celebrated painters. This cultural institution shines a light on the colossal and fascinating career of Henri Matisse, particularly focusing on the artist's later years. A gigantic retrospective, made possible thanks to the collections of the Centre Pompidou, bringing together no less than 230 works. Paintings, drawings, cut-out gouaches, illustrated books, textiles, and other stained glass pieces showcase the artist's ability to reinvent himself, as well as...to gain in intensity and depth.
