We’re taking a dip in the Canal Saint-Martin!

The official swimming areas in Paris weren't supposed to open until July 4th. But with the intense heat wave, the mayor of the city, Emmanuel Grégoire, has decided to open things up a bit earlier, at least for the Canal Saint-Martin. Because who can stop the determined Parisians from doing what they want? So, why not provide them with a safe place to enjoy it, considering the risks that come with jumping into this super popular spot as soon as the sunny days return? But be careful: swimming is only allowed in a section of the canal, not its entirety, and it’s free from 4 PM to 8 PM!

Discover the work of Lucille Clerc at the Slow Galerie République

In her new solo exhibition at the Slow Galerie République, illustrator Lucille Clerc immerses us in a familiar yet invisible natural phenomenon: the smell of the earth after rain. With a series of never-before-seen works, the artist takes us on a journey through landscapes touched by showers and pools of water, creating a sensory experience that connects nature, memory, and the sensations we often overlook.

We are loving the Afro street food from DKR

After two successful locations celebrating mama's recipes, the Djukine brothers, founders of BMK, have set up shop in Bastille with DKR, the latest Parisian food concept inspired by Dakar. What's on the menu? A panafrican cuisine that impresses, rooted in its time and true to the flavors of West Africa and the influences of the Caribbean. This is another wonderful showcase of African and Afro-descendant culinary cultures by the teams at BMK, with a contemporary and urban approach that aligns with the revival of Afro cuisines in Paris. Fried plantains, spicy wings, signature mafé, or street food-style yassa... L’s penchant for these delectable dishes is sure to delight!

o;the options are endless here.

We’re partying at La Station – Gare des Mines

Our favorite spot in the 18th where you can tap your feet is celebrating its last summer before closing for three years (sniff). So to support the project (which will live on despite the site closing), we keep the party going at La Station – Gare des Mines. What’s on the agenda this weekend? The amazing Créole, bringing the best parties to move your booty! It's a safe, intercultural space with a music lineup hotter than a heatwave! Just what you need to cure a bad mood with some fun…

Let's celebrate music at HOBA

This Sunday, Paris is buzzing with the rhythm of the Fête de la Musique ! Outdoor concerts, improvised DJ sets, choirs, brass bands, and pop-up stages : on June 21, the capital transforms into a massive open-air dance floor. Our hot spot? La Faticonfetti at HOBA ! A vibrant place dedicated to sustainable and joyful eating, nestled in the heart of 10 hectares of Martin Luther King Park in the 17th, HOBA is celebrating the Fête de la Musique alongside Faticonfetti, a colorful collective of nostalgic pop. What's on the menu? A creative carte blanche ! Come and enjoy with your ears a 100% maxi-pop-dance music line-up from the 90s to today. A free, joyful, overdressed, and somewhat chaotic party open to all dancefloor creatures, featuring live performances and drag brought to you by the Magical Theatre!

Let’s escape the city for a lovely outdoor flea market!

With this hot weather, there’s no doubt we need some fresh air. So, let’s head to the village of Bonnelles, just a stone's throw from Paris, where a gem full of nature awaits: Le Barn. In this former farm, featuring a beautiful lake, a restaurant, and vast green areas, we celebrate the fifth edition of the Barn flea market. What’s on the menu? A selection of treasures uncovered by carefully chosen antique dealers, a big summer barbecue to kick off the first day of summer, all in an enchanting setting for a refreshing escape into nature.
