We’re indulging at the pop-up restaurant of the big winner of Top Chef

This Wednesday, July 2, Quentin Mauro, a fan favorite since the first week, won the 16th season of Top Chef. Following his victory, the talented 25-year-old opened his pop-up restaurant (without a star) on the Splash barge in Asnières. Now, we know it’s not the closest place, but it’s definitely worth the trip. On the menu : a large friendly communal table just like home, and a 6-course meal that’s more impressive than the last. You’ll find all the ingredients that thrilled us during the season, sprinkled with the joy of the chef’s presence.circ;me, a delight. Yes, we know, spots are limited, but we have two good pieces of news for you. First, new tables are available for booking every day for the (unique) evening service – exclusively through The Fork. Plus, Quentin is also crafting the global menu for Splash this summer!

We’re taking a trip back in time along the banks of the Seine

Learn the history of Paris along the way.Experiencing it through classes, an exhibition, or a book is one thing. But being able to experience it live, through the eyes of a Parisian from that time, is quite another! That’s exactly the wonderfully crazy project imagined by Timescope, specialists in immersive experiences, who invite us this summer to travel back in time and rediscover the history of the capital, right at the locations where it all happened. For one hour, with a virtual reality headset in hand and audio headphones on, we’ll explore over 2000 years of History through stunningly realistic scenes that unfold 360° around us, discovering the capital in a whole new way, as if we were truly there!

We’re shaking it up to the rhythm of Brazil at the Grand Palais!

Get ready for a sparkling and lively atmosphere that only Brazil can bring, in one of the most beautiful monuments in the French capital! Are you excited? Here’s what the Grand Palais has in store for you for an unforgettable evening. Of course, dancing will take center stage throughout the night, with iconic Brazilian music setting the mood. The institution has also invited Gabriel Haddad Gomes Porto and Leonardo Bora, two well-known figures from the Rio carnival, who will be coming to Paris with their dance troupes.

Exploring the castles of Île-de-France

The first Sunday of the month means you can visit various castles around Paris for free! Yes, yes! Château de Fontainebleau, Malmaison, Écouen, Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Vincennes, Versailles, Rambouillet, and more… The greatest buildings in the region are at your fingertips. We highly recommend taking advantage of this before the heat returns next week!

Let’s enjoy a cozy brunch!

This brunch at €29 is definitely the best food deal of the weekend! We start off with sourdough bread or a brioche from Boulangerie Miemie, served with a choice of celery remoulade, fennel with green oil, or marinated eggs with miso mayo. Then, it’s time for the serious stuff: roast chicken bun, beef heart tomato, and onion compote, or poached egg on toast with spinach, hollandaise sauce, and either pork belly or salmon. Everything is super fresh, well-seasoned, and really generous. On the sweet side, it’s tough to choose between the French toast, chocolate lemon fondant, or the dessert of the moment. To top it all off, we have a refreshing homemade iced tea and an organic hot drink. Quality brunch, cool vibe, and a sweet price: let's dive in!
