We're (re)discovering Camille Cottin at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord
She has dazzled us on both the big and small screens, and now she’s ready to amaze us on the stage of the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord. Camille Cottin is coming to (re)conquer the hearts of Parisians this January. In this play adapted from the novel Jewish Cock by Katharina Volckmer, the actress embodies a young man trapped in a woman’s body. Through his thoughts, the character invites us into the depths of his intimacy, reflecting on his family heritage as well as his love for K. With blunt honesty, this monologue transcends the boundaries of political correctness, allowing for a clever blend of authenticity, dark humor, and poetry.
