We're dancing with the Coucou Crew at La Station – Gare des Mines

The Coucou Crew has been around for 8 years and has been actively engaging with young exiles, especially through a residency at La Station - Gare des Mines since 2021, where the collective welcomes everyone four days a week, offering art workshops, gardening, and cooking. So to celebrate its birthday, the crew invites us this Friday for a party with friends. On the agenda: concerts, DJ sets, a display of linocuts created during workshops with artist Marion Poussier, and delicious halal or vegetarian hot dogs to enjoy!

Rediscovering En attendant Bojangles at the theater

En attendant Bojangles, a novel by Olivier Bourdeaut, tells the somewhat crazy love story of a rather extravagant mother and a charismatic father, seen through the amazed eyes of their son. They will love each other in a joyful chaos filled with dance, madness, and poetry. After a beautiful performance by Virginie Efira and Romain Duris on the big screen (2021), this touching love story is back on stage at the Théâtre de l’Œuvre, directed by Victoire Berger-Perrin.

We’re treating ourselves to a women’s sophrology workshop

Sophrology allows us to return to ourselves and our senses, through simple and gentle body movements. It’s a time we dedicate to ourselves, where we reconnect with our breath and sensory perceptions, to release accumulated tension and rebalance our energy. To explore this activity, La Marbrerie is hosting a sophrology workshop exclusively for women, led by sophrologist Magali Serres.

As part of the Maison & Objet fair, happening right now until January 19, showcasing the talents of today and tomorrow in the fields of decor, design, and lifestyle, multidisciplinary artist Simon Yam will be revealed at the Parc des Expositions de Villepinte. With his exhibition Luminance, he invites us to step into his uniquely aesthetic universe, which reveals a decidedly modern Hong Kong culture, blending photography, design art, and fashion.
