We’re treating ourselves to a Japanese break at Eating
Here, there’s no fuss or flashy signage, just the aroma of toasted sesame, the gentle buzz of chefs in action, and the feeling of being somewhere else. Perhaps in an izakaya in Shibuya. Welcome to Eating, a charming little vegetarian Japanese micro-canteen nestled on Volta Street that transports you to Tokyo in two bites. At lunch, there’s one simple option, crafted like a comforting bento: a carefully simmered main dish (vegan tan tan men, creamy curry, crispy panko pork), hot rice, a delicate soup, and a few homemade pickles. All prepared right before your eyes, in a peaceful atmosphere that makes you want to slow down.

Let’s take a reading break on a hammock with Bibliambule
Charlotte and Amandine, two students at the Decorative Arts, came up with Bibliambule, a mobile library right in the heart of Paris. The idea? To reignite the love of reading for a generation of children and teens more obsessed with social media than the pages of a novel, with nearly 600 books aimed at ages 5-16, provided by associations and generous donations from readers. The tricycle library can set up shop anywhere, offering passersby the chance to dive into a good book. It's nice to take a little break in a universe of your choice. And don't worry, adults! If you're not so into children's literature, you can still enjoy one of the few more suitable novels and settle down in one of the hammocks.
