We're talking about decolonial stories with Betty Tchomanga at the Jeu de Paume
This weekend, the Jeu de Paume invites Betty Tchomanga for a journey into the heart of a moving thought. With this performance-lecture, A Lesson in Darkness, the artist transforms the space into a venue for intellectual and artistic resistance, in a hybrid form that calls upon colonial archive images, critical reflections, and choreographic gestures. On stage, she brings in ghostly figures, presences erased by history, and gives them form once again.
through dance, song, and speech. A counter-narrative that shines a light on what has been intentionally left in the shadows.See this post on Instagram

We're trying the salted bread at the Salted Boy pop-up
Do you know...Salted bread? Those ultra-buttery little rolls that drive Koreans wild? They first appeared in Japan in the 2010s, under the name shiopan. Since then, this pastry has become very popular in bakeries in South Korea, before making a cozy little stop for a weekend in Paris. At Salted Boy, you can enjoy these buttery, crispy, and salty rolls, and dip them into the three creams offered on the menu : coconut pandan cream, chocolate cream, and cream cheese. As for drinks, it’s Viahe Caphê that delights, the coffee shop loved by fans of Vietnamese coffee.

Re(discover) the Little Prince at the Cortot Hall
For many of us, it is both a reference, a Proustian madeleine, a bedtime story, and a source of comfort. The incredibly touching story of a pilot lost in the middle of the desert who finds himself face to face with a little boy who is as endearing and poetic as he is mysterious and fascinating. And this year, the Little Prince celebrates its 80th anniversary since its release in France. On this occasion, Éditions Gallimard is offering a new audio version of the story, presented as a musical tale, narrated by Denis Podalydès. To further enrich the story of Saint-Exupéry, composer Balthazar Pouilloux has created 15 exclusive pieces, specially imagined for this version. The cherry on top!The cake has two performances waiting for you on April 17th and 19th at the Cortot hall (17th arrondissement) to discover this new version on stage.
