Let's get into Basque time with the Fêtes luziennes!
From June 6 to 8, Saint-Germain-en-Laye will be decked out in the red and black colors of the Basque Country for the Fêtes luziennes, a warm and lively celebration that promises to immerse you in Basque culture. On Friday, the festivities kick off at 5:30 PM with a musical parade through the town, leading up to the official opening of the festive and delicious Basque village at Place du Marché-Neuf, featuring catering, cheese shops, Iberian markets, and traditional bakeries. The next day is all about family and local delights: treasure hunts, children's concerts, Basque cake competitions, historical shows, dance workshops, and so much more, all with a festive spirit!s de 350 artists, musicians, and performers mobilized throughout the day. In the evenings, Friday and Saturday will be lively with the Toro de fuego and the confetti battle lighting up the square starting at 9:30 PM, followed by a "Basque Party" until midnight. Finally, the festivities wrap up on Sunday, with the market and its live band starting at 10:30 AM.

For this new White Night, Europa Experience, an exhibition space of over 1,500 m2 that makes the issues surrounding the European Union accessible, will offer an artistic journey near its borders, blending dance, video, and electronic music. Its immersive 360° cinema will feature D A N S E (S), a selection of contemporary dance short films curated by the Forum of Foreign Cultural Institutes in Paris (FICEP), featuring choreographers from Italy.
