We sing the most beautiful songs of Cesária Évora at La Marbrerie

Cesária Évora is undoubtedly the most famous singer from Cape Verde. Since her sudden passing in 2011, many artists continue to keep her memory alive, evoking her melancholic melodies that captured the hearts of her audience. With the Cesária Évora Orchestra (founded in 2014), the repertoire of the one often called the Barefoot Diva continues to thrive around the world, featuring anthems like “Petit Pays” and “Sodade.” Join us this Wednesday for an unforgettable tribute evening to the great Cesária Évora, as well as a celebration of Cape Verdean culture.
