We celebrate Palestinian culture through cinema

This year, the Cine-Palestine Festival is celebrating its 12th edition in Île-de-France. It's a wonderful opportunity to honor Palestinian culture and its cinematic heritage, while also learning about the Palestinian cause, from the first Nakba in 1948 to the ongoing genocide, through archival footage and documentaries. After a delightful opening weekend at the Luminor Hôtel de Ville Cinema (which is unfortunately at risk of closing), the programming continues in several movie theaters around the region, until Sunday, June 14, featuring short film screenings, roundtable discussions, and a tribute to Leila Shahid.

Grab your tickets to see Disiz showcase for free!

If some of you were lucky enough to catch the singer this weekend at We Love Green, don’t worry, you still have a few chances to hear Disiz perform his greatest hits (and of course, we’re including “melodrama” in that list). The performer of “CASINO” will be doing a free showcase on Thursday, June 18, at the flagship Renault on the Champs-Élysées, for an evening in honor of the iconic Twingo model. And here’s the good news, the next ticket drop (it’s free, but requires a reservation, so pay attention) is happening this Tuesday, June 9!

We celebrate the horn

As a political battleground at the festival Nous en France

This Saturday, no less than three media outlets incubated under the Independent Media program – supported by Arty Farty and hosted at Gaîté Lyrique – are inviting us to a festive gathering to talk about identity through marginalized bodies. From these shared perspectives was born the first edition of the festival Nous en France, an event bringing together stand-up, fiery debates, and thrilling performances. And for this inaugural meeting, we have artists Leys, Doria, Cheetah, and the House of Revlon serving up an amazing experience!
