Discovering the secrets of a mysterious profession

Invisible yet essential, editing is one of the most fascinating careers in cinema. For its 7th edition, the Les Monteur·euses festival highlights those who shape films from the shadows. On the agenda: screenings of rare or lesser-known works, meetings with professionals, and discussions around this art that gives rhythm and meaning to images. It's an exciting dive into the behind-the-scenes of cinema.

Dining at Cagnard

In the 10th arrondissement, on Rue des Petits Hôtels, Cagnard brings a true breeze from the South. At the helm, Jules Behar and Félix Barthe put a fresh twist on Mediterranean cuisine with a sincere, precise, and incredibly delicious approach, always in season. In a warm dining room – wooden floor and tiles, tobacco leather banquettes, ceramic light fixtures from Marseille, and terracotta dishes from Morocco – the adventure begins. On the menu: confit leeks, mint-pistachio pesto and citrus; saffron octopus carpaccio; cauliflower...your rôtis: either lean with capers. And to finish beautifully: kalamansi curd, Italian meringue with mastika or orange blossom ice cream, pistachio praline, and salted butter caramel. A true journey around the Mediterranean, even into the cellar.
