We’re going to see a wacky play at the Maison des Métallos

In No Worries, two old pals reconnect over a game of Mif-Müf, a trendy Nordic sport, or so they say. As the game unfolds, the two buddies throw out all the truths, the kind that can sting and can only come from a true friend. Written and directed by Olivier Veillon, the play builds in intensity and comedy, revealing some truly human creatures in a crisis.

No worries!

Rediscovering Oedipus Rex at the theater

Tragedy of tragedies, Oedipus Rex, the founding myth of Western theater, is one of the first occurrences of incest in European literature. But today we know well that, on one hand, incest is real, and on the other hand, it has millions of victims in silence. So what can art do in the face of incest ? This is the question that follows Eddy D'aranjo throughout his rewriting and staging of Sophocles' work, blending psychoanalysis, social sciences, and more.

We're crushing on the naughtiest smash burger in Paris!

There are some pairings that just make your mouth water, big time. And the culinary creation The Cure, which you can find on the Echo menu right now, is one of them. This brunch spot on the second floor has teamed up with Boneshaker, a.k.a. the best donuts in the city, to create the cheekiest smash burger in the capital. Two smashed patties, cheddar, an egg, chipotle… All wrapped up in a vegan glazed donut… It's food porn like you've rarely seen before.
