It's official: this week marks the arrival of October. While that means autumn is definitely here to stay, it doesn't mean that Paris will become sad and gloomy — quite the opposite! Here’s the agenda of events to check out in this first week of the month.

Tuesday, September 30th 

We're discovering the best music album of the year with the Joséphine Prize 

What will be the album of the year ? Choosing the winner is no small feat for the jury of the Joséphine Prize. This year, the jury is made up entirely of renowned artists like Laurent Garnier, Anetha, Lous and the Yakuza, Lewis Ofman, Voyou… Together, they will award the prize to the most deserving artist, breaking down barriers of musical genre or fame, from the Bad Boy Lovestory by Theodora to the Graou by Miki, including Choke Enough by Oklou and Tamara by Ino Casablanca. Join us on Tuesday, September 30th at the Olympia or on Fip for the final ceremony, featuring live performances and the announcement of the winner!

Let’s have a movie quiz on the tracks of the little belt 

At Hasard Ludique, Tuesdays get funky with unusual and playful activities: danceoke, blind tests, zen evenings, and even Super Nintendo sessions. This week, it’s time for the Movie Quiz to test your film knowledge across all genres, with blind tests, clips, and speed challenges. Form your team, challenge others, and try to win rounds of beers and eternal glory.

Let's take your taste buds on a trip to Japan 

Feeling like a true getaway? Head to Biwan, tucked away on Rue du Louvre under the concept store Irrashai, where you can savor a refined Japanese cuisine in the kaiseki style. At lunch, indulge in a hearty Shokado Bento (30 €) or a Crispy Tempura Gozen (25 €). In the evening, enjoy five-course tasting menus (55 € or 85 €), with poetic dishes like asparagus with kimizu, octopus simmered in sake, and marinated mushrooms with coffee. All perfectly paired with carefully selected sakes. It's a one-way ticket to Tokyo, without leaving Paris.

It’s been 10 years since Tsugi Radio launched its first broadcast on October 12, 2015. Between a lost letter, the disappearance of one of his classmates, and a misunderstanding, Evan gradually manages to discover himself and become someone in the eyes of the world. Directed and adapted by Olivier Solivérès, with lyrics by Hoshi, this show promises to move us and take us through a profound moment of humanity. Join us on October 3rd for the premiere!

There's a tradition that you simply can't skip once October rolls around: participating in the Oktoberfest, of course! And it's at the Trinquet Village, in the 16th, where you can dive into a weekend full of festivities! On the agenda: beer — no surprise there — as well as fun activities, live music bands, DJ sets, delicious food… in short, a great time!

What a delight to indulge ourselves! Of course, celebrations enjoyed in moderation are the best, so let's not forget that excessive alcohol consumption is harmful to your health and should be enjoyed in small doses.
