Let’s enjoy some wood-fired tapas at Carlito's
Here’s another spot that’s bound to heat up the Marais. Since May 9, Terra Group has settled on rue du Temple with Carlito’s, their fifth Parisian establishment, conceived with Charles Crastre – also known as “Carlito” – former director of the Terra Bar à Vins. The idea? A lively and welcoming place inspired by Spanish tapas bars, where people come to nibble and discuss the world over a bottle. The star of the house: the fire…And meats. In front of the guests, meats, fish, seafood, and seasonal vegetables pass through the grill before making their way to the table, in a kitchen designed for sharing. To accompany all of this, the cocktail (and mocktail) menu steals the show with some wonderfully crafted house creations, while a lovely selection of French wines – including several natural options – makes our heads spin. A new hideaway that’s sure to become the next HQ for the (many) food lovers in the neighborhood!

Changing our perspective on the world through art at the Missions Étrangères of Paris
For ages, the artist has held a special role. They stand at the boundary between the real and the imaginary, opening the doors to a new world and offering us a fresh perspective on the earth surrounding us. They give form to the invisible and sketch out the future. It’s this poetic philosophy filled with hope that the Missions Étrangères of Paris are shining a light on by inviting seven artists from the Far East to express themselves. Painting, sculpture, photography, installation, video, all mediums will be used here to take us on a journey to new skies…

Seeing life in green with the Basil Bar Pesto Barilla
Pop-up restaurant, culinary and creative workshops, exclusive fashion capsule… From June 19 to 28, the Basil Bar Pesto Barilla is setting up in Paris to offer us an immersive experience blending gastronomy and creativity. An event to live, savor, and share, all in the heart of the Marais! What’s on the agenda? Culinary workshops with talented chefs like Charlène & Francesca, Matteo Pioppi, or more…re Mathis Moline. But also creative workshops to reveal the artisan and artist within you, with Céramicafé Geneviève, Hot Grigri, Other Hand, and Thon Mayo.
On the culinary side, it's chef Simon Auscher delighting us with creative and contemporary dishes. His mission? To elevate basil from appetizer to dessert, featuring zucchini gazpacho, tomato carpaccio, thousands of pasta dishes, veggie plates, and for dessert, a delicious chocolate-hazelnut fondant served with a fantastic basil ice cream. In short, we leave with full bellies, memories in our minds, skills in our hands… and some unique pieces in our bags! Because Barilla has teamed up with creator Elise Chalmin to offer us a never-before-seen capsule collection inspired by the freshness and vitality of basil. And honestly, we want it all!
