Let's watch a documentary about astrology

We're taking a trip around the Mediterranean with Carte Blanche

For four evenings, Umami Cuisine by Mariam Lah.tani sets up shop in the kitchens of Carte Blanche, just a stone's throw from the Canal Saint-Martin, to offer us a refined cuisine inspired by Mediterranean flavors. Here, the concept is simple: no fixed menu, resident chefs who take us on a journey through their desires. And this week, it's the Mediterranean that our chef is whisking us away to. On the menu, we have gazpacho with mint oil and Kalamata olives, Nablus muhammara (a kind of pepper caviar), orzotto alla Milanese, Meknes tajine with vegetarian keftas, and panna cotta with mastic from Greece, for a delightful treat during a summer evening.

We're going to see Piche perform for free at Garden Parvis!

If there's one concert you absolutely can't miss this week, it's Piche's. Discovered on Drag Race France, this artist has established herself as one of the most free-spirited and daring figures in the French scene, blending rap, pop, and performance art. With her impactful lyrics, sharp humor, and overflowing energy, she challenges gender norms and celebrates inclusivity.

After leaving her mark at the Printemps de Bourges and the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics, she's taking over Garden Parvis for a free concert that promises to be as festive as it is meaningful. The evening will kick off with Jahz Armando starting at 7 PM before handing the stage over to Piche, and will keep going until the wee hours with a DJ set by Milan Tavares. A fantastic reason to head to La Défense after work.
