We discover Agnès Varda at the Carnavalet Museum

We kick off the week with some poetry: the Carnavalet Museum is hosting a wonderful exhibition dedicated to Agnès Varda and her perspective on Paris. Posters, photos, archives… a tender journey through the filmmaker's Paris, on view until August 24.

Let’s catch a movie on the roof of the Moulin Rouge

Did you know ? La Machine du Moulin Rouge, more specifically the terrace of the Bar à Bulles, hosts an outdoor cinema every Wednesday evening until September 10, 2025. Each week, a screen is set up and deckchairs are arranged to give you a unique cinematic experience. This time, it’s the turn of the beautiful feature film by Wim Wenders to make us dream and soothe our senses with Perfect Days.

Let’s unwind with a nice outdoor yoga session

After four days of running around (or stuck at your desk without air conditioning), it's time to say stop: we're heading to Jardin 21 for an hour of outdoor yoga with Jenny. Mat under our arm and deep breathing, we slip into an ultra zen atmosphere by the canal, surrounded by plants, vegetable gardens, and the sweet sounds of little birds. Gentle Vinyasa, stretches that feel amazing, the warm glow of late afternoon light… it’s the perfect little break before jumping into the weekend.

Friday, August 22

Let's kick off the weekend with a big festival!

The biggest festival of late summer is back at the Saint-Cloud estate and turns the gates of Paris into a huge party playground. This Friday’s lineup includes Anyma, Aurora, Empire of the Sun, Marc Rebillet, I Hate Models, and Whomadewho. A massive musical experience among the trees, with food stands everywhere and a huge crowd until late into the night!

Swimming freely in the canal

Calling all outdoor swimming enthusiasts: the Ourcq canal will transform into a real Olympic swimming pool for the Swim Your Canal event. Whether you're a professional at the crawl or just curious, you can choose your distance (250 m, 500 m, 1.5 km, 3 km, or even 5 km) and dive into an utterly unique setting. And for those who prefer to stay (mostly) dry, a totally wacky buoy race is also on the agenda. The perfect plan to experience Paris as a great aquatic playground.
