Let’s (re)discover our Beloved Suburbs with the new exhibition from the Museum of Immigration History

They are located on the outskirts of the city, just a few minutes away by metro and are full of treasures. Yet, the suburbs are often criticized and pushed to the background. Today, the Museum of Immigration History invites us to restore a very unfairly tarnished image by breaking all the clichés associated with these bordering areas. These unique territories, at the crossroads of art, history, and social dynamics, unveil themselves here through a series of photographs, paintings, sculptures, and other archival objects, which elevate...in the suburbs into places of memory and sharing. And that felt good.

Get ready to be dazzled by the concert film Björk: Cornucopia

For those who aren’t familiar, Cornucopia is the tenth concert tour of the iconic Icelandic artist Björk, known for her alternative and avant-garde music. This musical and theatrical creation has traveled around the world for 5 years – from 2019 to 2023 – showcasing the entire artistic universe of Björk, from her iconic sounds to her recent albums, all wrapped in a mind-blowing visual narrative. It is the most elaborate live performance by the artist to date, captured and transformed into a concert film (in 4k quality and Dolby Atmos) for our utmost enjoyment, and screened in French cinemas this Sunday, May 11. An unmissable event for both long-time fans and newcomers alike!
