Let's treat ourselves to a delicious break at Grave

No matter how gray it is outside, in summer, you simply can't say no to ice cream. And when it comes to finding the best frozen treat in the city, there's really only one place that does the trick: Grave, the trendiest coffee shop on Rue des Gravilliers, known for serving up soft serves that are absolutely out of this world every summer. This year, they're hitting it out of the park again with their unique charcoal-infused Italian gelato, which you can happily pair with all kinds of delightful goodies displayed on their counter, including fresh cookies, homemade cakes, and their iconic whoopie pie.

Rediscovering the Golden Women, Legacy of the Olympic Games

The legacy of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games is stronger than ever. This Saturday, we celebrated the one-year anniversary of the iconic opening ceremony – which amazed us all along the Seine – and after the grand return of the Olympic flame to the Tuileries Garden last June, it’s time for the ten golden statuettes representing the great women of French history to make their comeback this summer. Head to rue de la Chapelle to (re)discover them, where they have taken up permanent residence!

We're celebrating lesbian struggles with this photo exhibit at Le Bal

Nous Autres was born from a unique meeting of photographer Donna Gottschalk, writer Hélène Giannecchini, and artist Carla Williams. Three women from three different generations, united to blend photography, art history, and literature in this new exhibition at Le Bal (18th). A project that highlights lives that have long been kept in the shadows, bridging activism and the fight for LGBTQIA+ rights, from 60s New York to 21st century Paris.

We're loading up on vitamins with the ultra-healthy brunch!

de Judy

What do you get when a restaurant's menu is entirely designed by a naturopath? To find out, head over to Judy, a lovely eatery with four locations in Paris (1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th), where organic and local ingredients take the spotlight, and gluten is left behind. Here, we embrace the quality lifestyle philosophy – being mindful of our consumption with products that are good for our bodies and the planet – by trying a variety of healthy, colorful, and tasty recipes. The perfect menu? An Elevate juice (carrot, apple, lemon, ginger, turmeric), followed by a Persian stuffed eggplant with quinoa, candied lemon, and served with grilled halloumi, finishing off with a competition-worthy banana bread topped with almond butter, strawberries, and pumpkin seeds. It’s worth trying in the morning or at lunchtime, to burst with energy and take on your day without a hitch.

We're soaking up the sun in gothic style with the new beach club Wednesday!

This year, Paris Plages really wants to dazzle us. After taking us on a journey to Brazil, the urban beach is whisking us off to a completely different universe this August, with a little less sun and caipirinhas. The reason? From August 1st to 31st, it’s changing its look and donning its darkest attire to pay tribute to one of the most iconic characters in pop culture: Wednesday Addams. The little girl in black with her legendary braids will make her appearance in celebration of the release of season 2 of Wednesday.

on Netflix, and takes over the Parisian summer with a beach volleyball court, solo ping-pong, deck chairs – for those not into the macabre tan – but also cello concerts, guided meditation, acupressure sessions…
