It's time to vote for our favorite short film or mini-series at the Nikon Film Festival!

Just like every year, the Nikon Film Festival takes us on a journey to discover new talents in the audiovisual world. The idea? To encourage video creation, promote emerging artists, and allow everyone to create and share a short film or mini-series for free. For this 15th anniversary edition – with Noémie Merlant as the jury president – a multitude of talents have submitted their creations all around the same theme, "A superpower," which directly echoes the very first edition: "I am a hero." The films are now being showcased on the festival's platform, and the time to vote for your Audience Award has arrived. Until March 20, the 3000 short films and mini-series are eagerly waiting for one thing: your support! Then mark your calendar for April 9 for the traditional awards ceremony.

Discover Sydney Valette at La Boule Noire

After 10 years of navigating through various electronic realms, Sydney Valette has firmly established himself with a blend of dark wave, EBM, ambient, rave, and even italo disco, all infused with a distinctly pop heart. It's a complex universe with undeniably punk borders, brought to life in his 7th album released last September: The Healer. And this week, Parisians will have the chance to experience this project live on stage at La Boule Noire, with the promise of a fantastic performance!

> live performance as dynamic as it is captivating. On the first part, we have the hypnotic solo project Sad Madonna, a regular in the dark and new wave Parisian scene.

, a topic that resonates strongly with its new show on stage: La Question. This adaptation of Henri Alleg's autobiographical work – which condemns the torture of civilians during the Algerian war from his prison cell – presents a play by Laurent Meininger that employs a “dryness of minutes” akin to that of a trial, where we hear the unhearable, the unbearable, and even the unacceptable in a concise narrative – almost clinical – refusal.not all emotion.

Rediscovering traditional Portuguese cuisine at Sapinho

You went on a road trip to the Algarve this summer and want to dive back into the sunny dishes that filled your dinners? In Paris, you won't find much better than Sapinho, a charming restaurant nestled in Square Lamarck, to revisit the classics of Portugal. For starters, we order bolinhos de bacalhau – cod fritters with potato, lemon, egg, and parsley – or octopus croquettes served with just the right amount of spicy mayonnaise, then we share a grilled piri-piri chicken for a delightful kick of colorful and flavorful heat. To wrap up the meal sweetly, we leisurely enjoy pasteis de nata, which gently remind us of the best we’ve had there, at Manteigaria, of course… An authentic tavern that owes part of its charm to the cheerful spirit of Rafael Dos Santos, the founder of the place.
