You know, Parisian nights are famous for their absolutely incredible cultural offerings. On every corner, whether it’s a weekday or the weekend, day or night, concerts and shows of all kinds make all of Paris come alive. But while most Parisians are feeling the pinch in their wallets, a new app has emerged on the cultural scene. I’m talking about TicketNunc, the Too Good To Go of entertainment – as perfectly put by 20 Minutes – that’s going to revolutionize your nights out.

The anti-waste solution for shows

Between desperate theaters not selling enough tickets and broke spectators who can’t afford a night out with Molière, a solution had to be found. And here it is, all thanks to four students who started their own startup, TicketNunc, which draws its...m is a contraction of the Latin phrase « hic et nunc », which translates to « here and now » in French.

The concept of the app is simple: deeply discounted show seats, sold 72 hours before curtain up. It's a bit like when you rush to grab the unsold pastries from the local bakery with Too Good To Go, but here, we're diving into some theater or dance instead! It's a fantastic opportunity for all those venues suffering from empty seats, watching their unsold tickets suddenly disappear. And of course, it's a win for all the theater lovers who can finally enjoy a great show without breaking the bank.

For a Democratization of Culture

A new platform that aims to revolutionize the world of entertainment, often seen as a luxury that ordinary folks can't afford. TicketNunc is here to revive the theater sector's economy, which has been in crisis for a few years, while also giving young students the chance to swap their streaming platforms for a face-to-face with Shakespeare!

This concept seems to be rolling along smoothly, as the creators of the app are already boasting more than 20,000 saved tickets across Paris, Lyon, and Avignon, according to 20 Minutes. So far, 150 venues across France have taken the leap to trust the company with their unsold tickets, and one thing's for sure: with such a fabulous idea, those numbers are bound to keep growing!
