For those who know the neighborhood, it’s not a coincidence: the 13th has been the beating heart of the Vietnamese diaspora in Paris for decades. The festival fits perfectly into this backdrop. Behind the event, Art Space collaborates with the Cultural Center of Vietnam in France to create something more vibrant than just an institutional showcase.

This year, the guiding theme is “Vietnam Through the 5 Senses,” an invitation to explore Vietnamese culture through its most tangible and sensory aspects: what we see, what we eat, what we touch, what we hear.

The Street Food Paradise

Let's be honest, the first thing that gets us excited about going there is the food corner. The festival is set up at the Cultural Center of Vietnam and promises a dozen mouthwatering street food stands. On the menu: crispy bánh mì, ultra-fresh bò bún, traditional little dumplings, and of course, the legendary iced Vietnamese coffee to cool off. It's the perfect combo for a food tour.

Fashion Shows and Art

After filling up on delicious food, it’s time for visual culture. Over 50 international artists are taking over the venues. The main highlight? The show “Vietnam in Colors”, which combines contemporary dances with a fashion show featuring the iconic áo dài (the traditional Vietnamese dress reimagined in a modern way). On top of that, you can also admire an enormous exhibition of nearly 100 photos captured by the vibrant local photography scene.

Free DIY Workshops to Take Home Your Souvenir

What's the real highlight of the event? You get hands-on. Immersive and 100% free workshops will teach you about Đồng Hồ painting, hat decoration, or crafting handmade bamboo fans.

Whether you're there to savor the best bánh mì in Paris, dive into some craftsmanship, or simply soak up the atmosphere, boredom is not an option. Just be careful to look up: if you’re not paying attention…

Entry to the festival is completely free for wandering and eating, but reservations are required to attend the shows and film screenings! The spots for the parade and the show “Vietnam in Colors” are free but super limited, so don’t wait around: rush over to HelloAsso to grab your ticket before everything is sold out.
