It’s the big news of the year. To celebrate the full reopening in 2025, the Grand Palais is launching a brand new summer season: Grand Palais d’été. The lineup includes exhibitions, meetings, evenings, and even workshops, some of which are open to you for free (with or without reservation). The best part? Most of these events are part of the France-Brazil season, allowing those stuck in Paris all summer to travel a little! Horizons, Brazilian Paintings
As part of the France-Brazil Season 2025, the Grand Palais showcases 4 contemporary Brazilian artists in an exceptional setting. It's a unique dialogue between diverse artistic practices, all united by painting, exploring the universe of these artists, weaving together collective memory and intimate resonances. From architecture, spirituality, and contradiction to eroticism, identity, and nature, all aspects of Brazilian culture will be celebrated here in a comprehensive exhibition that invites reflection.

Ernesto Neto, Our Drum Boat Earth
For 2 months, the Brazilian artist Ernesto Neto will transform the Nef of the Grand Palais into an immersive and sensory space. With Our Drum Boat Earth, a monumental installation made of crochet, bark, and spices, he invites us to wonder and share. Through his work, the artist builds a bridge between nature and traditions to highlight the continuity that exists between our bodies and the Earth we inhabit. An installation of endless poetry.

Fun Palace, How to Live Together ?
Through art, design, and performance, the Fun Palace collective is taking over the Grand Palais to explore our ability to be happy in society. For 10 days, the institution will transform into a true living laboratory, offering us a series of events inviting us to experiment with new ways of being together. Each day, with its own theme, will explore humanity and collective happiness through performances and meetings combining philosophy, music, design, and even video games.

CIRCLES, XXL Choreographic Workshop by Boris Charmatz
It's a truly unique experience that Boris Charmatz offers us as part of the Grand Palais d'été. A workshop bringing together over 200 dancers, creating together and live a brand-new choreography.

DJ set After Nef
To wrap up the unique CIRCLES workshop (which we just mentioned right above, for those who are not paying attention), the experimentation will conclude on Saturday night with.a huge evening at the heart of the institution. And let me tell you, after three days of watching others dance, you’ll only have one desire, to shimmy your own hips too. For this special occasion, the DJs Nymed and Deena Abdelwahed have been invited. And with such artists on the lineup, it promises to be a fiery evening on the dance floor.

With a sparkling and wild atmosphere that Brazil is famous for, in one of the most beautiful monuments in the French capital, does that sound tempting?
